Join us to photograph the Ford Detroit Fireworks from a rooftop location. Other landmarks visible from this location include the Ambassador Bridge and Michigan Central Train Station. EQUIPMENT MANDATORY for this event will include a telephoto lens (70-200 mm is ideal, the event photo from 2018 fireworks shown here was shot at 170mm), a tripod, and a cable release for your shutter for long exposure. Suggested settings will be provided to assist you in capturing a memorable photograph.

This will be a slightly longer event as several settings need to be set on your camera before it becomes dark. There are opportunities to photograph other Detroit skyline compositions while it is still light. Don't hesitate to bring food and drink for a picnic dinner.
